Lookalike Product - Viant inc.

Executive Summary

Allow clients to extend their reach beyond their known consumers to not known consumers who look like and have similar composition to the known consumers.

MY ROLE

I was responsible for the UI/UX of this tool. I started with a competitive analysis of our competitors' competing tool. My takeaways from the analysis and initial interviews provided enough data to design with a direction.

CHALLENGE

After going live and reviewing the data, we were not pleased with engagement. Going back to the drawing board and interviewing users we came upon some interesting insights that lead to a redesign and increased engagement.

Constant Improvement

Armed with the data that showed us that we missed the mark. we went back to identify how might we increase user adoption.

After interviews and reviewing how users were using our tool, we came out understanding and refining our original use case. The redesign gave us a huge boost in engagement and provided the user adoption we initially wanted.

"Michael's knowledge of UI/UX standards and knack for making things better is what I enjoy most while working together, he truly is a professional. One other great talent of his would be his ability to quickly understand new project requirements and translate them into functional wireframes that pinpoint the technical requirements for each project."
